On May 24, 2022, representatives of the State Customs Service took part in a training on "Intellectual Property Rights Protection" organized by the Schmitt & Orlov Intellectual Property International Company.

During the workshop, representatives of Schmitt & Orlov Intellectual Property International Company were made presentations on the methods of detection of counterfeit goods, special differences in the authenticity of goods, as well as the experience of protecting the intellectual property rights of copyright holders in the case of certain trademarks.

The speakers provided information on the registered trademarks of the companies-right holders, whose interests are represented by the above-named company. Also, the participants of the training were aware of the distinguishing features of the original products of the right holders from possibly counterfeit products.

Concluding the workshop, the participants noted the importance of such trainings in combating the illicit trade in goods.
