President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting via a digital system

Yesterday, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular working meeting via digital system with the participation of the Chairwoman of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh, some Deputy Chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, khyakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh G. Mammedova was first to report at the working meeting.

Representatives of the Mejlis took part in the 53rd meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS member states. During a visit to the Russian Federation it was stated that Turkmenistan, as a neutral independent state, creates all the prerequisites for the establishment and development of multilateral fruitful cooperation.

The Leader of the Nation approved the proposal to hold an inter-parliamentary forum in Turkmenistan, drawing attention to the need for thoroughly conducting the relevant organizational measures, and made a number of recommendations in this regard.

Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch.Purchekov and Khyakim of Ashgabat R. Gandymov were given the floor to report via a digital system.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported on the current state of affairs in the supervised institutions, the fulfillment of the instructions given earlier by the Head of State, as well as the preparations ongoing in the capital for the celebration of the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year’s Holiday.

The Ashgabat Khyakim reported on the city development work being carried out in the capital these days, preparations for the proper celebration of the upcoming significant occasions, including the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year’s Holiday, and the organization of large-scale cultural events.

Further, the working meeting via a digital system was continued with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiev, who in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the khyakims of the velayats.

Akhal Velayat Khyakim Y. Gurbanov was first to report on the state of affairs in the region, measures being taken to carry out seasonal agricultural work in compliance with the current requirements, as well as large-scale activities aimed at improving the social security of the velayat’s population.

At the same time, the Head of State gave the floor to Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers M. Mammedova. The Deputy Prime Minister reported on the large-scale work to organize the proper celebration of the upcoming significant occasions, cultural programs for the International Day of Neutrality and the New Year’s Holiday.

The Leader of the Nation also ordered to install New Year’s trees in the velayats in the squares in front of the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” buildings and to organize festive celebrations at an appropriate level. Everyone’s favorite New Year’s Holiday must be filled with cheerful events and unforgettable moments.

Further, Balkan Velayat Khyakim T. Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal work ongoing in the agricultural fields of the region.

During the working meeting via a digital system, Dashoguz Velayat Khyakim N. Nazarmyradov reported on the work nearing completion in the cotton fields of the northern region. Every effort is made to collect the grown crop up to the last boll, the smooth operation of cotton ginning enterprises, which is an important goal for today.

The working meeting via a digital system was continued by the report given by Lebap Velayat Khyakim Sh.Amangeldiev. The head of the regional administration reported on the pace of seasonal campaigns, measures for harvesting the full amount of the cotton crop remaining in the fields, as well as caring for winter wheat in accordance with agro-technical standards.

The report also covered the implementation of the provisions outlined for the current year as part of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2019-2025 and the National Rural Program.

Further, Mary Velayat Khyakim D. Annaberdiyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work ongoing these days, including harvesting crops from cotton fields without loss, proper operation of cotton ginning enterprises, and the required care for winter wheat.

Orazgeldiev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work ongoing these days, comprehensive measures being taken to fulfill the instructions given earlier by the head of state to grow a plentiful harvest of wheat and ensure food abundance.

The Deputy Prime Minister informed that work is under way in the fields of the Homeland these days to gather remaining cotton up to the last boll. At the moment, 1 million 269 thousand 838 tons of cotton have been delivered to the bins of the Homeland, and the plan has been fulfilled 101.59 percent. Moreover, mutual settlements are made with farmers for the delivered harvest in all regions.

In this regard, focusing on the importance of timely and high-quality agricultural work in accordance with agro-technical standards, the Leader of the Nation demanded that all agricultural operations for planting the next year’s harvest be carried out in a proper manner.

The Head of State also pointed out the necessity to strictly control issues related to timely and full payments for the harvested crop in all regions of the country, having given specific instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister and khyakims of the velayats.

The President of Turkmenistan instructed to make every effort to successfully fulfill the provisions outlined in the Program for Socio-Economic Development of the Country and the National Rural Program, as well as to ensure timely and high-quality events in the velayats that were scheduled for this year.

At the end of the working meeting, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished the participants sound health, family happiness and great success in their work for the prosperity of the Homeland and a happy life of the people of Turkmenistan.
