Customs Service’s input to the implementation of the digital economy into the trading system.

On December 16, 2021, in accordance with the Decree No.2140 of the President of Turkmenistan, issued in February 12, 2021, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan, an International Conference of Turkmen exporters on the development of the country's export potential was held under the title "Best practices and achievements in the effective implementation of the digital economy into the trading system." It was attended by the officials from the relevant ministries and departments, representatives of business circles and experts from international organizations.

At the beginning of the event, there were separately emphasized   long-term programs and plans for economic development through the widespread implementation of digital systems in all sectors of the national economy, which were approved by the unprecedented efforts of our Dear President, as well as the large-scale measures taken to implement them.

During the Conference, in accordance with the agenda, the representative of the Customs Service delivered a presentation on the implementation of the "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" system in Turkmenistan. As a part of the presentation, key information about the efficiency of this system was emphasized; the system will create conditions for expediting the movement of goods across the customs frontier, which will foster the expansion of foreign trade of country and develop national economy, as well as to the raising the business and financial rating of Turkmenistan to an even higher level.
