Briefing dedicated to the First Caspian Economic Forum was held in Tehran

According to the news on internet site of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in the framework of the preparations to the First Caspian Economic Forum to be held in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” on the 12th of August 2019, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran organized an informational briefing in assistance of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of Iran (ICCIMA).

The heads and representatives of ICCIMA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade, Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran, embassies of the Caspian states, Organization of Economic Cooperation, as well as the representatives of the business circles of the country took part in the event.

During the briefing, Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the IRI informed the gathered about the upcoming First Caspian Economic Forum, as well as the events organized in its framework.  After the speech, a video film about the Forum was shown and opportunity was presented for the exchange of views and reflection on the questions of the audience.   

The representatives of the Caspian states also declared the positive visions of their respective countries in regard to the initiative of Turkmenistan on organizing the Forum and expressed confidence that this platform will provide an opportunity to demonstrate to the full extent the economic potential of the countries individually and the region as a whole.
