On 27 August 2025, within the framework of enhancing international cooperation in the field of professional training and capacity building, an online meeting was held between representatives of the WCO Regional Training Centre (RTC) in Turkmenistan and the Academy of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event was organized in cooperation with the WCO Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) in Baku.

The main topic of discussion was the use of the WCO CLiKC! learning platform, designed for distance learning and the professional development of customs officials.

The parties exchanged experiences on the use of the CLiKC! platform to organize training courses, improve the effectiveness of educational programmes, and expand access for customs staff to modern learning resources.

The participants of the meeting underlined the importance of cooperation between educational institutions in the customs field, which contributes to building a common educational space, sharing best practices, and strengthening the human resource capacity of customs administrations.

As a result of the meeting, it was highlighted that the active use of the CLiKC! platform will further contribute to the professional development of specialists, as well as deepen cooperation between the Academy of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the WCO Regional Training Centre in Turkmenistan.
