On 6–8 September 2025, the city of Turkistan (Republic of Kazakhstan) hosted the 11th Meeting of the Heads of Customs Administrations of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). The delegation of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, headed by the Deputy Chairman took part in the event.
The program of the meeting included official sessions dedicated to the development of customs cooperation within the OTS, as well as cultural and business activities aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and friendly relations among the Member States.
The main session, held on 8 September 2025, focused on the discussion of priority areas of cooperation between customs administrations in order to facilitate trade, strengthen border security measures, and exchange best practices in customs digitalization.
