On January 27, 2026 on the occasion of Defenders of the Fatherland Day, solemn ceremony to announce the results of the “Exemplary Customs Officer” and “Customs Post of the Year” competitions took place at the Central Office of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

Based on personal contributions to strengthening law and order, improving the legal framework, exemplary performance of official duties and high service results, a number of servicemen of the State Customs Service were declared winners of the “Exemplary Customs Officer” competition. Certificates and valuable gifts were ceremonially presented to the winners.

The ceremony continued with the announcement of the results of the “Customs Post of the Year” competition. Taking into account strict observance of military discipline, proper maintenance of customs facilities, improvement of the surrounding area, and high service performance in 2025, the “Garabogaz” Customs Post of the Garabogaz road checkpoint of the Balkan Velayat Customs Office was declared “Customs Post of the Year”. A corresponding certificate was presented to the Head of the Customs Post.

At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag, and the Esteemed Supreme Commander-in-Chief.
