From October 16 to October 21, 2022, a group of customs officers of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on a working visit, the purpose of which is to conduct a comparative analysis of foreign trade statistics data of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The legal basis for conducting a comparative analysis of data Protocol between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the exchange of information on the movement of goods in mutual trade between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, signed on July 14, 2022 in Tashkent.

Comparison of data on imports and exports by different types of grouping of goods is aimed at identifying and assessing possible discrepancies, which in turn helps to obtain mutually agreed sets of trade data between the two countries.

Based on the analysis, the parties fully agreed on data on trade flows in mutual trade between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, on which a corresponding document was signed.
