A working meeting was held at the Mary velayat customs with the participation of representatives of the Mary customs and other law enforcement agencies, as well as specialists from the corresponding branch of the open joint-stock company “Railways”.

The purpose of the meeting is to raise awareness of participants about the rules of customs control of goods transported by rail in wagons and containers sealed with locking and sealing devices, in order to prevent customs offenses related to the destruction of seals.

Customs representatives provided participants with information about the rules of customs control of railway transportation and familiarized them with the legislative acts in force in that regard.

Following the meeting, the participants noted that such cooperation, an active dialogue between customs and railway workers on issues of rail transportation safety, makes it possible to formulate new approaches to ensuring the safety of cargo transportation.
