The 4th meeting of the National Coordinating Group for the implementation of the BOMCA-9 program

On September 12, 2019, the fourth meeting of the National Steering Group for the implementation of the BOMCA-9 program was held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat. The meeting was attended by the main partners of the Program in Turkmenistan - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Customs Service, the State Border Service, the State Migration Service, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, as well as representatives of EU embassies accredited in Turkmenistan.



The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the main aspects of the implementation of the BOMCA-9 program in Turkmenistan, as well as the preparation of the Final Report of the project.



National Steering Group (NSGs), comprising representatives of major national beneficiary agencies, were established in each of the five Central Asian countries.



The BOMCA program began its activities in Central Asia in 2003 and is contributing to the development of cooperation between Central Asian states in the field of border management.
