Turkmenistan exports tomatoes to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan

On October 25, 2019, customs officers of the Mary post of Mary Velayat customs issued 18  tons of tomatoes for export. Tomatoes packed in environmentally friendly plastic boxes were shipped to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. Throughout the country, the volume of exported tomatoes since the beginning of the year amounted to more than 15 thousand tons.

As observations show, Turkmenistan demonstrates positive export dynamics. This is facilitated by the implementation of import substitution and export growth programs. At the same time, export deliveries of industrial, food and agricultural products increased.

Customs in its turn provides support in the development of foreign trade. One of the main tasks facing the customs service of Turkmenistan is the creation of conditions conducive to accelerating trade through the customs border.
