Yesterday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, hyakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, having discussed important issues of the country's socio-economic development, as well as the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the regions.

The vice-premier also informed that silkworm caterpillars are being cared for in Akhal, Lebap and Mary velayats, and high-quality grena has been harvested in Balkan velayat, which is distributed among silkworm breeders. In Dashoguz velayat, taking into account the climatic conditions of the region, silkworm caterpillars will be cared for on April 26.

Noting that the state is investing huge funds in the development of the agro-industrial complex, the vice-premier assured the head of Turkmenistan that rural workers, effectively using the opportunities provided, will do everything in their power to successfully solve the tasks set. It is also necessary to make every effort to organize the harvesting season of silkworm cocoons and successfully fulfill the planned plans for the production of this valuable raw material. The Deputy Prime Minister was also given a number of instructions on this matter.
