Last week, 53 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, businessmen from Russia and Turkey bought polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries. Gasoline brand ECO-93 (SC "Türkmenhimiýa") became the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from the UK, Turkey, Afghanistan, Georgia, etc.
In addition, assorted terry products, licorice roots and rhizomes, as well as cotton yarn, which were purchased by representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Kyrgyzstan, were sold for foreign currency. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 17 million 654 thousand US dollars.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased motor oil (produced by the Turkmen Oil Refinery), polypropylene and high-density polyethylene (SC "Türkmenhimiýa"), as well as handmade carpets for a total amount of over 37 million 509 thousand manats.
