Yesterday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting, at which the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who supervises the agro-industrial complex and khyakims of regions took part. The issues for discussion included implementation of goals proceeding from programs for socio-economic development of regions as well as course of seasonal agricultural activities and preparation for upcoming festive events.

Khyakim of Akhal region Ya. Gurbanov was the first to take the floor to report on the care of cotton fields and all-round preparation for well-coordinated harvest of wheat.

In his report, he also informed on the pace of construction of social, cultural and industrial projects, the commissioning of which into operation is planned to take place the current year.

The khyakim reported on preparation for well-coordinated organization of the “Last bell” ceremony in secondary schools of the region.

Further, khyakim of Balkan region T.Atahallyev reported that seeds have already come up and proper agro-technical activities are carried out in cotton fields.

The western region has fully prepared for the start of harvest of wheat –treasure of people and its efficient organization.

It was informed that measures are taken for raise of potato and other fruit and vegetable crops with a view of sufficient supply of home market with them.

The work on production of cocoons and successful implementation of the production plan for this valuable raw material is carried out in accordance with made requirements.

The khyakim reported on the course of construction of social and production projects in the region in accordance with scheduled plans as well as preparation for efficient organization of the “Last bell” ceremony in secondary schools.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that the “Last bell” ceremony in secondary schools, a memorable and solemn event should be held at the highest organizational level.

The online working meeting continued with the report of khyakim of Dashoguz region N.Nazarmyradov on seasonal agricultural activities carried out in the northern region, including the cotton sowing campaign and care of already germinated seeds.

In his report, he also informed on activities to raise a rich harvest of potato and vegetables with a view of saturation of home market with fruits and vegetables and supply of its population with them in abundance. The proper care is taken of silkworms for production of cocoons.

The khyakim also informed on preparation for the “Last bell” solemn ceremony in secondary schools of the region.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also drew attention to the tasks for production of cocoons, a valuable raw material for the textile industry of the country. The khyakim was instructed to complete timely the season and fulfil the relevant production plan.

The head of the state pointed out that in preparation for the “Last bell” ceremony in secondary schools of the region all the existing issues should be taken into account.

Further, khyakim of Lebap region Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the activities carried out in the cotton fields as well as preparation for efficient organization of wheat harvest.

The khyakim also reported on the measures taken for raise of potato and fruits and vegetables and supply of population with this produce.

Further, the khyakim informed the President of the country on happy news –successful fulfilment of cocoon production plan of the region yielding 1010 tons of raw silk. The head of the region on behalf of all silkworm breeders of the region expressed his gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the support, created conditions and opportunities for work.

The President of Turkmenistan congratulated workers of the given sector and expressed his acknowledgment to them for their noble and selfless labour.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the khyakim to keep the course of construction of social and industrial projects in the region under his constant control.

The head of the state noted that efficient organization of the “Last bell” ceremony in secondary schools of the country should live in minds of school leavers forever as pleasant memories.

Khyakim of Mary region D.Annaberdiev reported on the activities carried out in the region to take care of cotton fields and well-coordinated start of wheat harvest and full readiness of agriculturists for this campaign.

Besides it, farmers make an efficient use of all the opportunities for raise of potato and gourds and vegetables and supply of population with this produce.

The khyakim reported on the course of construction of social projects planned to be commissioned into operation in the region this year as well as preparation for organization of the “Last bell” ceremony in comprehensive secondary schools.

It was informed that silkworm breeders of the region have successfully fulfilled their cocoon production plan having produced 440 tons of cocoons. On behalf of workers of the sector, the khyakim of the region expressed his thanks to the President of Turkmenistan for conditions created by the state for attainment of such wonderful achievement.

Having sincerely congratulated silkworm breeders of the region with this labor victory, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that their success has a great significance for supply of textile industry of the country with the valuable raw material and thanked them.

The “Last bell” ceremony should be organized at due high level typical of such wonderful event in secondary schools of the region.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet E.Orazgeldiyev informed on the current state of affairs in the agricultural fields of the country and complex measures taken for proper care of cotton plants and other crops as well as organized and timely start for wheat harvest.

In his report, he informed that activities for raise of potato and gourds, vegetables and supply of population with this produce are carried out in accordance with the instructions given earlier by the head of the state.

The Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet reported that the work on proper completion of the ongoing season for production of cocoons and complete fulfilment of the scheduled plan is carried out in accordance with made requirements.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the measures taken for raise of rich harvest of cotton, wheat and other crops should fully conform agro-technical standards and gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet instructions connected with successful realization of the set tasks and supply of all regions of the country with foodstuffs in abundance.

Further, participants of the meeting sincerely congratulated the head of the state with upcoming remarkable dates, Day of Ashgabat city and the “Last bell” ceremony noting that these events take a worthy place in the life of our people and wished the President of Turkmenistan sound health, long life and further success in his work.
