The meeting was held on May 31, 2022 in the building of the Central Office of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan during a visit to Turkmenistan by a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Rakhimov.

It was noted at the meeting that the technical conditions for the preliminary exchange of information on goods and vehicles between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan were agreed upon. It was noted that the process of signing the document should be carried out. The Uzbek side also discussed the drafts of two documents during the meeting, namely the Technical Conditions for the Preliminary Exchange of Information on Goods and Vehicles between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The draft Protocol on the Exchange of Goods Information was considered.

At the end of the meeting, the parties wished each other success and expressed confidence in the further development of bilateral cooperation.
