Yesterday, Haji Arkadag, on behalf of the head of state, gave gurbanlyk-sadaqah, dedicating it to the memory of Shinzo Abe. This event was evidence of deep reverence for the memory of the former Prime Minister of Japan, who made a significant contribution to the development of friendly relations between our countries, the implementation of bilateral agreements, as a result of which Japan became a reliable partner of Turkmenistan.

Members of the Government, heads of military and law enforcement agencies of the country, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan and international organizations took part in the event, which was held in the fashionable “Arkadag” hotel.

Haji Arkadag, speaking to the participants, emphasized that on behalf of Arkadagly Serdar, he dedicates this gurbanlyk-sadaqah to the blessed memory of the former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. As Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, the deceased occupied a special place among modern politicians and prominent statesmen of the planet and achieved great prestige in international circles.

As the head of the Government of Japan, Shinzo Abe devoted his whole life to serving the interests of his country, maintained stable, mutually respectful relations with various states of the world and authoritative international organizations, Haji Arkadag noted.

Shinzo Abe is an outstanding personality and a great politician who has made his worthy contribution to the strengthening and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan. I had a chance to meet with Shinzo Abe on several occasions. We have always treated his high human qualities with great respect, maintained friendly relations with him, Hero-Arkadag emphasized.

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that today the people of Turkmenistan, together with the Japanese people, are experiencing a heavy loss - the untimely death of Shinzo Abe. The bright memory of this remarkable man, the great politician of our time, will forever remain in our hearts.

And let gurbanlyk-sadaqah in memory of an amazing person and a prominent statesman be accepted by the Almighty - Kabul bolsun! Shinzo Abe passed away, and Haji Arkadag announced a moment of silence in memory of him.

Further, the imam of the city of Ashgabat read a prayer-tebarek.

Then, in the name of the blessed memory of the deceased Shinzo Abe, on behalf of Arkadagly Serdar, gurbanlyk-sadaqah was given.

Those present, having tasted the dishes of the national cuisine, emphasized that the current memorial meal has become the personification of the centuries-old humane traditions of the people, which today have a worthy continuation.

The initiatives of Haji Arkadag, his desire to develop national traditions that have developed over many millennia, are giving good results. And we are pleased to note that the great transformations begun by the Hero-Arkadag, the socially oriented state policy, are successfully continued by Arkadagly Serdar. This suggests that everything currently taking place in the country meets the spirit of the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state.

Then “ayat-tovirs” were read, prayers were raised to the Almighty for the repose of the soul of the deceased Shinzo Abe, as well as for the health and longevity of Haji Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar. The gathering people prayed to Allah for the success of the work begun in the name of the bright future of the country, for the unity and solidarity of the people, so that people could celebrate Gurban bayramy (Eid al-Adha) for many years to come, just like today.

Haji Arkadag approached the leaders and representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Turkmenistan and expressed condolences on the death of Shinzo Abe, as well as words of deep compassion addressed to the entire Japanese people.

Haji Arkadag appealed to the Ambassador of Japan with a request to convey deep condolences to Emperor Naruhito, Prime Minister of the friendly country Fumio Kishida on behalf of the head of Turkmenistan.

The Hero-Arkadag also asked to convey sincere words of empathy and support to the family of Shinzo Abe personally on his own behalf and on behalf of his family.

All this became evidence that the primordially humane traditions and principles of our people are alive to this day. Among them, the priority is the development of friendly relations with the countries and peoples of the world.
