Yesterday morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov flew around the capital by the helicopter familiarizing himself with the complex works carried out here, as well as with projects for further improvement of the social infrastructure of Ashgabat.
The presidential helicopter initially headed for the Medical Advisory Center named after S.A. Niyazov. Currently, in accordance with the instruction of Arkadagly Serdar, great importance is attached to the modernization of social buildings located in different parts of Ashgabat, their equipment according to the requirements of the time.
During the flight, the helicopter of the President headed towards modern medical centers located in the south of Ashgabat and relating to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
The helicopter of the head of state flew over the Makhtumkuli Fragi Cultural and Park Complex, located in one of the picturesque places of the southern part of Ashgabat. From the height of the flight, the President of Turkmenistan watched the large-scale construction works unfolding here, the improvement of the foothills and the uniqueness of the forest zones created in this corner.
Continuing the flight, Arkadagly Serdar got acquainted with the original features of the facilities of the modern business center of Ashgabat. The multi-purpose buildings erected here in recent years form an organic architectural ensemble with previously built structures, including the “Döwletliler köşgi” Palace. Currently, in accordance with the assignment of the President of Turkmenistan, reconstruction and radical modernization of the buildings of the unique children’s town are continuing at an accelerated pace.
Having familiarized himself with the implementation of the program reforms deployed in the main city of the country, Arkadagly Serdar inspected the construction site of the Academy of Public Service under the President of Turkmenistan, being built in the center of the capital. During the building activity of this institution, where specialists will be trained for the public administration system, special attention is paid to creating optimal conditions for training and the introduction of advanced technologies.
From the heights, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also observed the ongoing work on the construction of a 400-bed International Health and Rehabilitation Center, which will replenish the capital’s complex of healthcare facilities.
The helicopter of the head of Turkmenistan made a U-turn over the Tashkent Recreation Park created in the capital. In this complex, which will be a wonderful gift for residents and guests of Ashgabat, great importance is attached to ensuring the necessary conditions for comfortable rest and cultural leisure of people. Thus, the Tashkent Park, which has appeared in our capital, is a vivid symbol of traditionally friendly, fraternal Turkmen-Uzbek relations, and their bringing to a qualitatively new level.
Arkadagly Serdar also examined a complex of buildings in the northern part of Ashgabat, where a business and social infrastructure that meets the requirements of the time is being formed. The shopping complexes built here, the Garagum Hotel, and other multi-purpose objects make up a single architectural ensemble.
The Turkmen leader’s helicopter flew over a shopping center under construction on the capital’s Makhtumkuli Avenue. According to the instruction of the President of Turkmenistan, priority will also be given to ensuring a high culture of trade and services.
Then the presidential helicopter proceeded to the southern part of the capital. From the height of the flight, the head of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the works carried out here, the condition of parks and green spaces, as well as the improvement of the territories adjacent to the objects.
Continuing the flyby, Arkadagly Serdar focused on the pace of work carried out in a large residential area of Parakhat. The construction of various facilities, including residential buildings with all amenities, continues at an accelerated pace here, which indicates the priority of the social component of the domestic urban development strategy.
Then the helicopter of the head of state departed to the west of Ashgabat. From the height of the flight, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov inspected multi-purpose objects built on the territory of Buzmein etrap, residential complexes fully corresponding the requirements of the time.
Comfortable residential complexes have appeared in the western part of Ashgabat, in particular, Gurtli and Keshi, where much attention is paid to the construction of related social facilities. From the heights, the scope of work deployed in this part of the city is clearly visible.
After completing the flyby of Ashgabat, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with sketches of construction sites near the multi-lane road bridge at the intersection of Archabil Avenue and N.Andaliba Street. These will be multi-purpose new buildings, intended to ensure the organic development of the capital’s infrastructure.
Having viewed the bridge located in this part of the city, the head of state drew attention to its specifics, decoration, as well as the landscaping of the adjacent territory. The green areas created here, and the lighting system are in harmony with the design of this object of the road transport network.
Deputy Prime Minister Ch. Purchekov reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the specifics of the submitted drafts, the objects that are supposed to be built on the territory of the capital.
Among the projects presented are proposed plans for the renovation of the Main Flag Square in the southern part of the city, a number of sketches and schemes for the improvement and expansion of the adjacent territory.
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the works implemented at the Makhtumkuli Fragi monument, installed on a hill in the southern part of the city, in the foothills of Kopetdag, on the fulfillment of the relevant commissions given by the head of state. As it was reported, modern building materials and high-quality marble tiles were used in the construction of the monument and the arrangement of the adjacent territory.
The most important requirement for carrying out construction work in the capital is strict compliance with environmental standards. At the same time, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers informed the head of state about the location of the park on the western side of Bitarap Turkmenistan Avenue, as well as about the proposed facilities.
The construction of modern social facilities is also planned along the capital’s Gurbansoltan Eje Avenue. As part of the report, sketches of future residential buildings and other structures, as well as a diagram of their location were presented to the President of Turkmenistan.
18 nine-storeyed residential buildings, 2 two-storeyed shopping centers, a 720-seat school, a 320-seat kindergarten, parking lots and sports fields will be erected here. The residential complex of Gurtly will also move westward along the Gurbansoltan eje Avenue.
At the same time, it is planned to build new high-level comfort housing on the site of demolished old wooden houses. Here, sketches of residential buildings proposed for construction along the Myati Kosaev Street were submitted to the head of state for a consideration. In addition, it was reported about the construction of collector and drainage networks on the territory of the capital to reduce the level of groundwater, sewage drainage and storm flows. In this regard, the President was demonstrated the projects of the appropriate facilities.
Further, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N.Amannepesov reported on some medical facilities planned for construction in the capital, in particular, the 160-bed International Center of Pediatrics. This facility will be included in the structure of the Directorate of International Medical Centers of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan. Here, young patients will be provided with the highest quality services that meet international standards.
There was also a report on plans to build a Dental Center in the Keshi residential complex, where prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases will be carried out.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, it is stipulated to place a 500-bed International Scientific and Clinical Oncology Center on the territory of the Choganli residential complex. It was noted that the results of the relevant international tender will be summed up in the near future and its winner will be determined.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that in recent years an optimal urban environment has been created in all regions of the country and in Ashgabat, in connection with which various projects are being implemented, including the construction of healthcare institutions.
Arkadagly Serdar instructed to announce an international tender for the construction of an International Center of Pediatrics and a Dental Center, the construction of which is of great importance for ensuring high quality services in the healthcare.
In addition, the President of Turkmenistan gave instructions concerning the construction of a complex of new modern buildings of the Medical Advisory Center named after S.A.Niyazov, as well as the Educational and Scientific Center for Maternal and Child Health at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M.Garryev and the preparation of relevant proposals. In the future, these centers will operate on the basis of the State Medical University, it is planned to place departments in them, train students and organize postgraduate training courses for doctors, conduct practical classes. High-quality medical services will also be provided here.
As the head of state noted, all stages of the work carried out in this direction should be kept under strict control.
An indisputable requirement is also the use of the latest technologies and high-quality building materials in the construction of structures that make our capital even more beautiful and provide a higher standard of living for its inhabitants. Today, Ashgabat confidently occupies a place among the most beautiful and comfortable cities in the world.
The harmonious combination of urban and natural landscapes, the formation of green zones are important factors in ensuring the ecological well-being of the capital, optimal living conditions and proper rest of people. Therefore, it is necessary to approach these issues responsibly and on a comprehensive basis, including the perpetuation of personalities who have left an unfading mark in the national history, the head of Turkmenistan said, giving specific instructions to the relevant officials.
