Turkmen karate masters win one gold and four bronze medals at the tournament in Germany

February 27, 2017. International traditional karate tournament, where Turkmen sportsmen won five medals, is completed. Few hundred fighters from 18 countries took part in the competition. 

Jelal Satlyguliyev in up to 75 kg weight category was far ahead of the competitors and won the gold. 

Diyar Hojayev (up to 60 kg) won one of the bronze medals. This talented sportsmen has many of medals including the gold ones won at different large international competitions. His main achievement is the world record in the Fastest Win, which was set during Open Russian Fudokan Karate Cup in Tolyatti in 2015. It took seven second for Diyar to win his contester. This record is unbeaten yet. 

Another bronze medal was won by Selim Myratdurdiyev (up to 61 kg). Two bronze medal was won in team kata (patterns of movements) by Jelal Satlykguliyev, Dovlet Berdiyev, Gurbanmyrat Gylyjov, Rovshen Hudayberenov and Selim Myratdurdiyev.
