On April 6, 2023, at the suggestion of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, an expert online meeting of representatives of the customs services of Central Asia and China was held.

Earlier, the Chinese side initiated the creation of a mechanism for regular meetings of the heads of customs services in the Central Asia-China format.

The meeting of experts was aimed at preparing this meeting of the Heads of Customs Services, which is scheduled for the end of April this year.

The parties discussed the Agenda and Minutes of the upcoming meeting, and also considered a draft document regulating the mechanism for regular meetings of the heads of customs services in the Central Asia-China format.

The mechanism of regular meetings of the heads of customs services in the Central Asia-China format aims to actively promote the security and facilitation of trade between the countries of Central Asia and China, as well as the implementation of the relevant agreements reached in the framework of the meetings of the heads of state of Central Asia and China.
