The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the capital, familiarizing himself with the progress of work being carried out on the territory of the Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex located in its southern part, as well as with a number of projects for the development of the main city of the country, which are important on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the great thinker Magtymguly Pyragy to be celebrated in 2024.

The sculpture of the great thinker, the outstanding master of the word Magtymguly Pyragy is installed on a high hill in the foothills of Kopetdag and is visible from afar. Currently, large-scale work is being carried out to improve the territory adjacent to the monument.

In the morning, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived at the Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park complex, where he was met by some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Hyakim of Ashgabat.

Hero-Arkadag noted the need to pay more attention to the improvement of the park and the area around it, ensuring environmental well-being and maintaining cleanliness. In this regard, as it was emphasized, the complex named after the great poet and the objects located in the southern part of the city should create a unified harmony. Special emphasis was placed on design issues and the importance of its combination with elements of national architecture.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that our people highly revered the poet-thinker, who made a huge contribution to the universal treasury. The translation of the wonderful poems of Magtymguly Pyragy into different languages of the world is a vivid evidence of the international recognition of his invaluable work. Emphasizing the need for in-depth study of the works of the great thinker, the active involvement of youth in this work, the Hero-Arkadag noted the importance of a responsible approach to solving these tasks and gave a number of instructions to the relevant leaders.

Speaking about the fact that Magtymguly's work, which has taken its rightful place among the masterpieces of world literature, is in the focus of attention of foreign scientists and literary critics, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of wide popularization of his immortal poems, glorification of Pyragy in modern works of Turkmen writers.

Then the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan got acquainted with the projects and drawings of the location of the objects planned for construction on the territory of the Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex.

Deputy Prime Minister B.Annamammedov informed about the work carried out here on the improvement of the adjacent territory, familiarized with the lighting system, variants of inscriptions proposed to be placed on the objects, as well as projects related to the night panorama of the complex, and with the design features.

Emphasizing the need to create a harmonious combination of the urban environment, man-made green areas with the surrounding landscape, the Hero-Arkadag noted the importance of ensuring the ecological well-being of our capital, ordering to keep under strict control the issues of landscaping this beautiful corner, turning it into a blooming garden.

Emphasizing the importance of using the latest technologies in the design of the cultural and park complex, the National Leader of the Turkmen people drew attention to the bright lightening of the sculpture of Magtymguly Pyragy using various special effects. It is necessary to take responsible and comprehensive approach to the successful solution of these tasks, the Hero-Arkadag noted.

Then Deputy Prime Minister M.Mammadova reported on the program of cultural events prepared on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the Magtymguly Pyragy Cultural and Park Complex, as well as theatrical productions planned within its framework.

Large–scale celebrations in honor of the widely celebrated date - the 300th anniversary of the great thinker of the East, as well as the opening in 2024 of this large cultural and park complex should become unforgettable, like the beautiful poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy, Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, continuing that the song and music performances organized on this occasion should correspond to the spirit of the times, to celebrate the achievements of the native Motherland, the national love for the poet.

Hero-Arkadag noted that cultural events dedicated to the upcoming significant date are held not only in our country, but also in many other countries. This is a clear evidence of the successful development of cultural cooperation with the States of the world.

The works of Magtymguly, imbued with patriotism, humanistic ideals, devotion to their people, have become an invaluable asset of the nation. The poetic world of the great classic, huge as the ocean, is a source of inspiration for poets and prose writers, bakhshis and musicians, said the Hero–Arkadag.

Then the Hyakim of Ashgabat, R. Gandymov, reported on the progress of construction works, presented projects and sketches for the modernization of the road leading to the International Airport.

After reviewing the projects, the National Leader of the Turkmen people made a number of remarks and made appropriate adjustments. As in any construction work, the materials used in the road construction of the capital must be of the highest quality, it is important that they meet international standards and the requirements of today.

In 2024, the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy will be solemnly celebrated here, which the people will meet with new labor victories and achievements.

It is planned to make mini-sculptures of the poet for this significant event, which will be presented to all participants of the celebration, the Hero-Arkadag said, addressing specific instructions to the relevant leaders.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people also stressed the expediency of using special electric vehicles for walking around the complex.

Noting that the new academic year will begin soon, in commemoration of the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, new educational institutions will be inaugurated in different regions of the country, the Hero-Arkadag emphasized the importance of ensuring a high level of all planned events. At the same time, the National Leader of the Turkmen people spoke about the expediency of organizing stage productions dedicated to Magtymguly Pyragy with the participation of schoolchildren and students in theaters of the country on September 1. In this regard, the National Leader of the Turkmen people addressed a number of specific instructions to Deputy Prime Minister N. Amannepesov.

The Scientist-Arkadag, being a great lover of artistic creativity, said that over the weekend, reflecting on the upcoming anniversary of the poet, he wrote new poems, which he recited while sitting on a bench in the shade of the trees of a beautiful forest park complex.

The vice premiers and Hyakim, who were lucky enough to be the first listeners of the new poem, wished the Hero-Arkadag creative success.

Then Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov once again stressed that the issues of improvement and transformation of this cultural and park complex into a blooming oasis should always be in the spotlight. It should become a favorite place of recreation for citizens and guests, it will inspire young people engaged in artistic creativity to create new works.
