On January 27, 2024, in continuation of the ceremony of presenting the highest state awards on the occasion of Defender of the Motherland Day, the results of the competition for the titles “Exemplary Customs Officer of the Year” and “Best Customs Post” were summed up.

The professional skills competition was held in advance and included testing for knowledge of customs legislation and regulatory documents in the field of activity. Both young customs officers and professionals in their field took part in the competition. The winner was the competitor who showed the best result and scored the most points.

In the nomination for the title of “Best Customs Post,” the winner was the customs post “Gaudan” of the Ashgabat city customs, which is located on the Turkmen-Iranian state border.

When determining the winners among customs posts, the organizing committee of the competition took into account the results of the work of customs authorities in 2023 in various areas of activity.

The winners of the competition were awarded certificates and valuable gifts.
