The practice of regular meetings of customs officers with participants in foreign economic activity at the interdepartmental level continues. On February 21, 2024, the first such meeting this year took place in Ahal velayat customs. The agenda includes innovations in customs legislation, as well as current issues related to foreign economic activity.
The meeting participants were employees of the State Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry, "Turkmenstandartlary" of the main public service, the "Turkmendemiryollary" and "Turkmenavtoulaglary" Agencies, OJSC "Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan", representatives of a number of transport and logistics companies , specialists from the Ahal velayat committee of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as private entrepreneurs.
Customs officers explained in detail the procedure for processing the export and import of goods, the benefits provided to private entrepreneurs, including the prospects for transition to a digital system in connection with the implementation of the Single Window for Export-Import Transactions project.
The meeting participants who spoke noted the role of such events in the context of the development of public-private partnerships to achieve the goals outlined in the State programs for the production of import-substituting products and increasing the volume of exports of domestic goods.
