         From 24 to 25 April 2024, a technical mission of the Border Management Program in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), funded by the EU, visited the Training Center at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan to develop recommendations and technical solutions for the implementation of the concept of distance learning in the State Customs Service Turkmenistan.

         Representatives of the technical mission - the expert group of the Riga Technical University introduced representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan to the best practices of EU countries in the implementation and development of methods and technological capabilities of using the distance learning system in the process of training and advanced training of employees.

         During the meeting held here, an analysis of existing technical solutions, software, equipment and infrastructure in the system of training and advanced training of employees was made and technical solutions and recommendations were developed for the implementation of a distance learning system in the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

         The concept of distance learning provides a sustainable and technology-based approach to the implementation of training and professional development of officials, strengthens capacity and supports the development of modern initiatives in the field of teaching and learning.
