On February 19, 2025, the ceremonial launch of the mobile application of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took place.

The event was organized in cooperation with Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) funded by the European Union and with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, BOMCA 10 leaders, representatives of the European Union, as well as customs and border officials from Central Asian countries.

The mobile application of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was developed within the framework of Component 4 Strengthening Cross-Border Cooperation of the BOMCA 10 Programme to enable users to quickly and conveniently learn about the main customs rules and requirements. The application helps to comply with procedures, always be up to date with the latest changes and provides mobile access to all necessary information. The mobile application also provides the ability to fill in the passenger declaration online and offline.

The Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, who delivered a welcoming speech, noted that the Mobile Application will be useful both in the work of customs officers and for entrepreneurs and travelers wishing to cross the borders of Turkmenistan.
