During the meeting, the head of Turkmenistan and the plenipotentiary exchanged views on the prospects of interstate cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and support, as well as having a huge potential. In this regard, there were touched upon the issues of implementation of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Ashgabat last year and the meeting of the leaders of the two countries on the sidelines of the Third Consultative Forum of the Heads of Central Asian States.

Noting with satisfaction that our countries are following the course of trust-based partnership, the head of state and the diplomat expressed their full readiness to intensify traditional cooperation and implement new joint projects that will promote an even greater rapprochement of friendly peoples.

It was noted that the proximity of approaches and positions on topical issues of international politics directly serves as a favorable ground for the activation of Turkmen-Kazakh relations at various levels. As you know, our states successfully cooperate in both bilateral and multilateral formats, as evidenced by mutual support within the framework of reputable international structures.

In conclusion, the President of the Turkmen State once again wished the diplomat great success in the work aimed at strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
