Yesterday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, the hyakims of the velayats, having considered issues related to the progress of seasonal work on the country's agricultural lands.

First, the head of state gave the floor to the hyakim of Ahal velayat Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the measures taken to care for grain, on vegetation irrigation, and preparations for an organized mowing. Particular attention is paid to cotton fields, inter-row cultivation.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the importance of organizing work in all areas in accordance with the requirements of the time. Care of crops and watering should be carried out in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology.

Then the hyakim of the Balkan velayat T. Atakhalliyev reported on the work on the sowing campaign in the fields of the region, the vegetation and irrigation of wheat, the steps taken to combat plant pests, and preparations for the organized mowing. It was also noted that measures to care for cotton are being carried out at an accelerated pace.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the fact that high-quality care for wheat crops and optimal preparation for an organized start of harvesting are among the current requirements. In this context, special attention should be paid to bringing the agricultural machinery and grain receiving points to the proper operational condition, which will be involved in the upcoming campaign.

The working meeting via the digital system continued with the report of the hyakim of the Dashoguz velayat N. Nazarmyradov, who reported on the dynamics of seasonal work on agricultural land, including wheat care and preparation for harvesting.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the need to take care of wheat in accordance with agrotechnical standards. At the same time, speaking about the importance of preparing for the grain harvesting campaign, the head of state ordered to ensure the full functional readiness of combines, vehicles and collection points for the harvested crops.

In continuation of the working meeting, the report of the hyakim of the Lebap velayat Sh. Amangeldiyev was heard, who reported on the measures currently being taken in agricultural fields, including vegetation irrigation of wheat, preparations for harvesting grain and organizing work in cotton fields in accordance with agrotechnical standards.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that the ongoing work in the wheat fields is the key to a prosperous future for the country, noting the importance of their timely watering. At the same time, it is necessary to take a very responsible and comprehensive approach to the organization of grain harvesting.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the hyakim to accelerate the pace of construction of sewerage and water treatment facilities in various etraps of the velayat, as well as to intensify activities in the social direction.

Then the hyakim of the Mary velayat D. Annaberdiev reported on the state of affairs in the wheat lands of the region, preparations for organized grain harvesting.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of proper care for wheat fields, ensuring their vegetation irrigation, organizing grain harvesting at the proper level. It is necessary to keep an eye on the readiness of combine harvesters, trucks and other equipment.

The head of state stressed the importance of fulfilling the plan for harvesting cocoons in the velayat, giving the khyakim a number of instructions.

In continuation of the working meeting via the digital system, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiyev made a report. The Deputy Prime Minister reported on the work on the grain lands and that, along with these works, preparations for the harvest of grain are proceeding at a high pace.

It was reported that, as a result of the opportunities provided by the state, everything necessary is being done in the velayats to complete the sowing of cotton as soon as possible, and where there are already seedlings, in accordance with the rules of agricultural technology, they are cared for, irrigated, inter-row cultivation is ensured, while ensuring uninterrupted work agricultural machinery.

In order to strengthen the food security of the Motherland and fill the domestic market with local products, potatoes, fruits and vegetables are grown in the regions of the country, and they are cared for in accordance with the rules of agricultural technology.

The Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the results of working trips organized on behalf of the head of state to Ahal, Balkan and Dashoguz velayats, on the progress of spring field work in these regions, in particular, caring for wheat crops, watering, preparing for the wheat harvest season in accordance with the requirements.

After listening to the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, based on the results of the Deputy Prime Minister's business trips to the regions, demanded a positive solution to the issue of land reclamation in the Dashoguz velayat, since this is the main condition for the harmonious development of the region's agro-industrial complex and obtaining high crop yields.

In this regard, the head of state instructed the vice-premier to visit other velayats in order to study on the spot issues related to the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations for wheat harvesting, as well as caring for cotton crops in accordance with agricultural standards.

Summing up the results of the working meeting, the head of state noted the importance of proper implementation of all the tasks planned for this year, marked by great successes and significant events. All these works must meet the requirements and spirit of our time, the head of Turkmenistan emphasized. And in order for the agro-industrial complex of the country to continue to develop harmoniously and efficiently, it is necessary to actively use advanced experience and the latest achievements of scientific thought.
