On March 30, 2024, the Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan met with the regional coordinator of the UN Conference on Trade and Development, Dmitry Godunov.

As it was mentioned, within the framework of the first stage of the Digital Economy Development Concept in Turkmenistan in 2019-2025, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has successfully implemented electronic declaration in ASYCUDA, and within the second stage, work is being carried out to launch a Single window for export-import operations.

Within the third stage of the Digital Economy Development Concept, it is proposed to implement the third phase of digitalization of customs authorities in Turkmenistan.

In this regard, at the meeting, the parties discussed proposals of the UN Conference on Trade and Development on the third phase of digitization of customs authorities in Turkmenistan.
