Yesterday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a festive trip to Lebap velayat, where he got acquainted with the implementation of the state program of socio-economic development of the regions, the pace of grain harvesting, the state of affairs in the industrial complex. The head of state also held a visiting meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers here.

In the morning, the presidential plane flew from Mary International Airport to Turkmenabat. A warm welcome ceremony of Arkadagly Serdar was held at Turkmenabat International Airport, accompanied by musical performances. Representatives of the younger generation read poems, sang songs glorifying the great achievements carried out under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan in a new historical era.

The head of state thanked the young artists who performed and, at their request, took a picture with them as a souvenir. The children were also presented with gifts.

In the building of Turkmenabat International Airport khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported to Arkadagly Serdar on the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations for grain harvesting by skillful farmers of Darganatyn etrap.

Then President Serdar Berdimuhamedov proceeded on car to the farmlands of Watan Daikhan Association in Charjev etrap of the velayat.

Here Arkadagly Serdar was met by a tenant farmer Azat Joraev.

The hardworking daikhan expressed sincere gratitude to Arkadagly Serdar for the constant support from the state, which provides all the opportunities for productive work on the land and gathering a rich harvest of wheat. He also said that he has been working under the rental system for 16 years, planted varietal wheat harvest on an area of 10 hectares and expects to receive 50 quintals of grain per hectare.

The grain grower assured that he would continue to work tirelessly to successfully complete the tasks set, using the opportunities created by the state for fruitful work of rural workers. Noting the special attention paid to crop rotation on leased land, daikhan said that this year he plans to sow mash on wheat-free plots.

Tenant A.Joraev noted with pride that the opportunities created for the rational use of arable land, increasing the yield of agricultural products and productive labor inspire farmers to new victories and achievements. Daikhan turned to Arkadagly Serdar with a request to bless the beginning of the harvest of wheat grown by him.

Grain harvesters from the world’s leading companies are rightfully considered the most productive, harvesting wheat from the fields efficiently and without losses. Their effective work ensures the organization and rapid pace of grain harvesting, being an important stage in the life of farmers.

The head of state presented a memorable gift to the tenant as a sign of gratitude for selfless and productive work. At the daikhan’s request, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also took a photo with him as a souvenir.

There was also an exhibition of vegetables and melons grown in the fields of the region, fruits, grain seeds, bakery products. The variety of products presented is a clear example of the wealth and generosity of the Turkmen land, provided through regular state support.

At this time, girls and young women prepare national dishes. Bread is being baked from the flour of this year’s harvest in tamdyrs.

Then President Serdar Berdimuhamedov flew by helicopter to the venue of the opening ceremony of Gadyn gas-gathering station located on the territory of Farap etrap, Lebap velayat.

Chen Huailong, General Director of the branch of the China National Oil and Gas Corporation (CNPC) in Turkmenistan, showed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov photographs and diagrams hung on the walls, vividly telling about the successful Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in the oil and gas industry.

Informing about the technical equipment of the new gas-gathering station at Lebap velayat gas field, the Chinese specialist said that the equipment of the facility, where the digital system is also implemented, meets modern standards.

Then the head of state went to the conference hall, where a solemn meeting was held on the occasion of the opening of a new gas-gathering station.

Addressing the ceremony participants, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated everyone on the commissioning of a new facility at Gadyn field of Lebap velayat in the year “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag”.

“The open door policy is an important basis of international relations of our neutral state. Based on this, Turkmenistan has established itself in the world as a reliable and responsible partner. This creates conditions for increasing the economic potential of the country, helps to solve many issues of global importance, allowing us to improve the well-being of our people,” President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized.

As noted, the export of hydrocarbon resources to foreign markets is a strategic goal of Turkmenistan, ranking fourth in the world in terms of natural gas reserves.

“For the past thirteen years, Turkmen blue fuel has been warming the hearths of friendly Chinese people and facilitating the work of industrial enterprises. A major energy project makes a significant contribution to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthening friendly and fraternal relations between the peoples of the two countries,” President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined.

Turning to today’s significant event, the head of state noted with satisfaction that Lebap velayat is one of the most dynamically developing industrial regions of the country.

One of these is the new gas-gathering station at Gadyn field. Natural gas from Kiştiwan, Günbatar Kiştiwan, Gadyn, Eljik and Gündogar Eljik fields on Bagtyýarlyk contractual territory plays a key role in collecting 5.5 million cubic meters of natural gas per day and shipping to the Chinese state.

The commissioning of the modern facility will create 200 new jobs, which is a clear example of the successful implementation of the state employment policy, the President of the country continued.

Having once again cordially congratulated the audience on the commissioning of a new oil and gas facility in Farap etrap of Lebap velayat, the head of state wished everyone good health, a prosperous and happy life, and the staff of the station – great success in the upcoming work.

Then the floor was given to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan, Qian Naicheng.

Having sincerely thanked President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for participating in the opening ceremony of Gadyn gas-gahtering station, the diplomat noted with satisfaction that this year marks exactly 15 years since the start of CNPC activities in Turkmenistan.

Turkmenistan is one of the largest energy powers on the planet, and China is a country with a huge interest in Turkmen blue fuel, the diplomat continued, noting the broad prospects for further development of interstate dialogue.

In conclusion, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Turkmenistan wished President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sound health, expressing confidence that relations between Turkmenistan and China will reach a new, higher level.

Then the President of the Board of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) Hou Qijun addressed the celebration participants.

On behalf of the Chinese National Oil and Gas Corporation, the distinguished guest expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the great attention paid to the development of interstate partnership in the field of energy, as well as to the company’s activities in the structure of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan.

As stated, since 2009 Turkmenistan has supplied 340 billion cubic meters of natural gas to China.

At the end of his speech, the President of the Board of the Chinese National Oil and Gas Corporation, Hou Qijun, expressed gratitude to the head of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for participating in the opening of a new facility on the territory of Bagtyyyarlyk contractual territory and wished him good health and success in state activities, and prosperity to the Turkmen people.
