Yesterday, on behalf of the head of state, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Akhal velayat, during which he got acquainted with the progress of construction of a new modern administrative center of the region, presented projects and held a working meeting on issues related to increasing the pace of construction work.

Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the center of Akhal velayat D.Orazov and khyakim of the new administrative center Sh.Durdylyev informed Arkadag about the results of the work done and the quality of the materials used in construction.

Hero-Arkadag got acquainted with the building materials used in the construction of the new administrative center of Akhal velayat, the features of decorative fences of buildings, as well as samples of equipment that will be installed in the Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Center located here.

Hero-Arkadag noted the need for the active use of the latest technologies and modern achievements used at the facilities in Ashgabat during the construction of the new modern administrative center of Akhal velayat, and in accordance with the instructions of the country’s President focused on the importance of issues related to the use of innovative technologies in the construction of Ashgabat City.

Then the Hero-Arkadag was shown simulated images and projects telling about the technical characteristics of electric buses and electric taxis that will be involved in the new center, their samples and the proposed color scheme of passenger transport.

Emphasizing that electric buses and electric taxis will play an important role in maintaining a high ecological level here and ensuring the well-being of the population, Arkadag focused on the coloring of passenger transport. At the same time, the climatic conditions of our country and modern requirements should be taken into account.

Having inquired about the specifics of the relevant infrastructure of the center, Arkadag got acquainted with the project of an underground transport tunnel under construction in the new city, as well as with samples of gates for administrative buildings.

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that in improving the road transport infrastructure and ensuring uninterrupted traffic in the new center, an important place is given to underground passages, focused attention on the fact that high quality of construction and compliance of building materials with the requirements is the main condition. In this regard, it is necessary to study in detail the best international experience.

Hero-Arkadag also got acquainted with the project samples and features of the mosque, which is planned to be built in the new center. As noted, in the mosque with a total area of 12.9 hectares, all conditions will be created so that 5.5 thousand people can perform prayer here at the same time, and the construction of related facilities is planned on its territory.

Then the Hero-Arkadag held a working meeting here with the participation of the heads of the new modern administrative center of Akhal velayat. Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of Akhal velayat D.Orazov reported on the implementation of previously given instructions, in particular, on the work to obtain appropriate certificates for materials used in construction and for road signs.

Hero-Arkadag said that it is necessary to make every effort to solve the tasks set, to comply with the requirements for urban planning.

In continuation of the working meeting, Hero-Arkadag said that by the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, the delegation of our country, headed by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of a new modern administrative center of Akhal velayat, is sent to Vietnam to exchange experience in the field of urban planning. As you know, Vietnam is known as a country with a progressive construction industry. Speaking about this, the Hero-Arkadag noted the importance of this trip, which will allow the accumulated experience to be realized. At the same time, the architectural appearance of the center’s buildings should harmoniously combine elements of national decor and modern original designs.

Hero-Arkadag identified specific tasks for equipping buildings and carrying out the necessary commissioning works, which should be completed within a month, noting that every effort should be made for this.

Noting that most of the people involved in the construction are young people, Hero-Arkadag informed that in this regard, it is proposed to amend the new version of the Law of Turkmenistan “On State Youth Policy”, as well as to develop a mechanism for the development of entrepreneurship among young people (if 75 percent of the employees of an enterprise established by entrepreneurs are young people, name it a youth enterprise, and provide benefits for state support of such enterprises).

The younger generation should make every effort to multiply the achievements of our powerful Motherland, further increase its authority on the world stage, as well as facilitate the development of national culture with their talent, Arkadag continued, noting the importance of events held these days on the initiative of Arkadagly Serdar within the framework of the Week of Culture in all corners of the country.

Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh said that concern for ensuring creative work and proper recreation of young people is a priority direction of state policy. In this regard, Arkadag noted the expediency of organizing musical and song performances of artists for the builders of the new center.

Then the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the nine-storeyed house being built on the territory of the center and got acquainted with the conditions created in it. As in all residential buildings under construction in all corners of the country, the layout of rooms, and kitchen equipment fully meet modern requirements and international standards. This testifies to the successful implementation of the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan for the construction industry, as well as about an integrated approach to ensuring high quality of construction works and their compliance with modern requirements.
