On July 6, 2022, a video conference was held between representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and representatives of the Customs Departments of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a videoconference. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the development of a draft Agreement on the rules of interaction between authorized customs operators, as well as on the upcoming work and exchange of experience in the development of customs cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the ongoing work on TIR-EPD and E-CMR to implement this system.
