Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, which considered prepared drafts of documents and discussed a number of issues.

The head of the state first gave the floor to Chairwoman of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh G.Mammedova, who informed on the activity to improve the national legislation carried out with a view of further steady development of branches of economy and democratization of Turkmen society.

At present, preparation for the upcoming nineteenth session of the sixth convocation of the Mejlis on July 16 of the current year is carried out.

It was informed that on July 2-6 representatives of the Mejlis jointly with the Khalk Maslakhaty took part in the work of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

Further Deputy-Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh K.Babaev reported on the complex work on improvement of a legislative basis of the country in accordance with the goals set before the National Parliament.

With a view of the strengthening of a legal basis of the democratic law and secular state in accordance with requirements of the time and generally accepted international standards, discussion of legislative documents aimed at protection of human rights and freedoms, realization of the state youth policy as well as further development of the fatherland, rise of social and living standards of people is carried out.

Further, the floor was given to Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov, who reported on the practical steps taken within the framework of transformations to improve the state management with a view of efficient regulation of labour resources and labour market.

At present, the work on agreement and approval of staff lists of public institutions and enterprises is carried out in accordance with the special Procedure. Having reported on the draft of the new version of the given Procedure, which meets requirements of the Labour Code and law of Turkmenistan “On public associations“ and developed for regulation and modernization of a number of legal acts, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet gave a detailed information on the provisions of the given document.

Having summed up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that an inseparable part of the social strategy of the Government is maintenance of a high level of employment of population. Necessary preconditions for successful solution of goals in this area is possible thanks to dynamic paces of development of the national economic complex, investment intensity and implementation of large scale programs.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Sh.Abdrahmanov reported on the measures carried out to develop the field of “Uzynada” in Balkan region and to expand its limits.

On the basis of geological exploration work carried out by “Türkmengeologiýa” State Corporation, “Türkmennebit” State Concern has started drilling of a well with a depth of 7300 meters in the deposit of “Uzynada’ with a view of expansion of its limits and efficient use of the richest hydrocarbon resources. It will serve approval of the prospects of increase in the production volume of crude oil at the given field.

Having summed up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that conduction of relevant work here will serve realization of a significant potential of the national oil and gas sector called to make a weighty contribution in the social and economic development of the country.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet A.Yazmyradov reported on the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns as well as measures taken to improve water supply in regions of the country.

Nowadays, agro-technical activities are carried out actively to ensure care of cotton fields, including inter-row cultivation, their fertilization and vegetation irrigation.

In addition to it, in the fields freed from wheat, ploughing and levelling work is carried out. Measures for sowing intermediate crops are taken.

The Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet also reported on the work for improvement of water supply in the country, in particular, in Dashoguz region. Today, necessary measures are taken in the region to clean irrigation canals and save water resources.

Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan underlined that the basis of success in grain growing is a regular work on improvement of yield of grain crops, efficient use of cultivated fields and machinery. In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet was given relevant instructions to complete successfully grain harvesting campaigns and to store properly the gathered harvest.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Ch. Purchekov reported on the work for development of production capacities of the plant for production of petrol from natural gas in Akhal region.

At present, “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern carries out a steady work aimed at development of chemical industry, increase in the volume of chemical production through rise of production potential of the sector.

In the largest plant built in Akhal for production of petrol from natural gas, gasoline mark ECO-93 is produced from liquefied natural gas and desulpherized diesel fraction. From January to June, the production plan has been fulfilled by 120, 8 percent.

Having pointed out that in order to bring the plant to full capacity and realize its output at best price, it is expedient to build an additional warehouse complex in the territory of the plant, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a proposal on announcement of the international tender.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the given proposal. Drawing the attention to the importance of maintenance of production capacity of the unique industrial complex –the first plant in the world which produces gasoline from natural gas, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out relevant work in this area.

Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet M.Mammedova reported on organizational issues of the international festival “Handcrafts and decorative and applied art in the heritage of world peoples” to be held in Turkmenabat city of Lebap region on October 11-14 of the current year.

At present, the Provision of the international festival “Handcrafts and decorative and applied art in the heritage of world peoples” has been developed.

On its sidelines, it is planned to organize exhibitions- fairs of national applied art, master classes, scientific practical conferences and other events.

Having approved the proposal on organization of the international festival “Handcrafts and decorative and applied art in the heritage of world peoples”, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet concrete instructions for its organization.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Amannepesov reported on fulfilment of the instructions given earlier and submitted for consideration of the head of the state the draft of the Resolution “On organization of the World Sambo Championship in Ashgabat in 2025”.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan of June, 2019, this championship was planned to be held in 2020 and in this connection, necessary organizational work was carried out jointly with the International Sambo Federation.

However, in connection with the global epidemiological situation, at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the International Sambo Federation held on April 27, 2022, the decision was adopted to hold the earlier planned World Sambo Championship in Ashgabat in 2025. The given proposal was explored by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy jointly with the National Federation of Martial Arts and supported.

The large international tournament will be held in the Sports complex of martial arts of the Olympic village in Ashgabat in November of 2025 and it is proposed to set up the organizing committee for its organization and conclude an additional agreement between the International Sambo Federation and National Federation of Martial Arts of Turkmenistan.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined especially the importance of organization of the upcoming World Sambo Championship in the Turkmen capital at high level taking into account it significance for further augmentation of the sports image of sovereign Turkmenistan and strengthening of traditional friendly relations with foreign countries.

The President of the country also instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out necessary work to qualify the best sportsmen to join the national sambo team and prepare for this important international competition.

Having signed he Resolution, the head of the state sent it online to the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet and instructed him to ensure a strict control over the course of fulfilment of all planned work.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minster of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov reported on preparation for the upcoming state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For consideration for the President of Turkmenistan, the program of the visit planned for July 14-15 was submitted.

Having summed up the report, the head of the state marked with satisfaction the traditionally friendly god neighbourhood character of the Turkmen-Uzbek dialogue based on the historically developed relations, spiritual and cultural commonality of brotherly people of two countries. Today, based on the firm good will of the sides, interstate relations continue develop dynamically upwards being enriched with new events.

Having noted the importance of high level talks, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, head of MFA to ensure a high organizational level of the state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan in the course of which it is expected to sign a solid package of documents called to give a new impulse for further development of fruitful partnership and facilitate optimal realization of its multifaceted potential.

Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency at the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyev reported on preparation for the international conference “International transport-transit corridors: interconnection and development”.

It was informed that the forum aimed at intensification of modern transport and logistics system at international and regional levels is planned to be held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country on July 18-19.

On the margins of the conference it is planned to hold the third meeting of the working committee of the Agreement on the Establishment of International and Transit Corridor between the Governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Sultanate of Oman, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan (Ashgabat Agreement) as well as the first working meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization on transport corridors of Kyrgyzstan –Uzbekistan –Türkmenistan –Iran and Tajikistan –Uzbekistan –Turkmenistan –Iran –Turkey.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined hat in modern conditions partnership in the transport sector obtains a special significance as an inseparable factor of global sustainable development.

Further, the Transport and Communications Agency at the Cabinet of Ministers reported preparation for the contest of innovative projects “Digital solution -2022”.

For fulfilment of the goals set in the Concept of development of digital economy, the state program for development of digital economy in the country for 2021–2025, discovery and encouragement of young people engaged in development and introduction of innovative softwares, start-ups , it is planned to hold the regular contest “Digital solution -2022”.

It is expected to be held under such nominations as healthcare, science, education, transport and logistics, electronic industry, agriculture and services sphere.

Having summed up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that at present, the country carries out the program work for digitalization of all spheres of national economy, introduction of scientific solutions in production which has a special significance for modernization of activities of branches of national economy in accordance with requirements of the time.

A number of other issues were also considered and important documents aimed at development of sectors were adopted at the meeting of the Government.

Having concluded the regular online meeting of the Cabinet, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family wellbeing and great successes in their work for progress of our sovereign fatherland.
