Five powerful Russian-made mainline freight diesel locomotives were purchased by the Turkmendemiryollary agency. These traction machines were developed by specialists of the Bryansk Machine-Building Plant (JSC Transmashholding) for operation in difficult climatic conditions on sections with a difficult track profile. They will replenish the fleet of locomotives of the Turkmen state company OJSC " Demirellari, which provides transportation of goods and passengers.
Recall that in October 2021, a Russian-made passenger diesel locomotive TEP70BS and a main freight diesel locomotive 2TE25KM arrived in Turkmenistan. The supply was carried out in accordance with contracts concluded in October and November 2020 between Demirellari OJSC and the Russian JSC Transmashholding.
