Yesterday, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov and velayats’ khyakims to review the progress of agricultural work in the regions.
The first floor was given to the khyakim of Akhal velayat Ya.Gurbanov, who reported on the state of affairs in the region, preparations for the start of the wheat sowing scheduled for September 2, finely and in agrotechnical terms. Farmers are provided with the necessary seed material, equipment, inventory, and mineral fertilizers.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of proper organization of wheat sowing, scheduled to begin on September 2 of this year, which will guarantee the basis of the future harvest, and instructed to carry out strict control over the preparation of land for sowing, providing farmers with high-quality seeds and mineral fertilizers, the readiness of inventory and agricultural machinery.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that on the occasion of the new academic year, the opening ceremonies of new educational institutions should be held solemnly and at a high organizational level.
Then the khyakim of Balkan velayat T.Atakhalliyev reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural work, preparation for sowing wheat, plowing and planning of land intended for laying next year’s harvest.
The velayat’s khyakim reported on the events scheduled for September dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the sacred independence, which the opening of social and industrial facilities is timed to. The pace of construction work in the region was reported.
There was also information about preparations for the new academic year, steps being taken to hold high-level events on this occasion.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov assigned to properly organize the winter wheat sowing, giving specific instructions to the khyakim to improve the efficiency of work.
Then khyakim of Dashoguz velayat N.Nazarmyradov reported on preparations for sowing winter wheat and the new academic year.
Khyakim reported on the implementation of the President’s instructions concerning the pace of construction of social and industrial facilities, and those where work is at the final stage. All measures are being taken to ensure their timely commissioning, particularly in September.
There was also information about preparations for the new academic year.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that timely high-quality sowing of winter wheat is the key to a rich harvest in the future.
Having focused on the issues of growing late potatoes and other fruit and vegetable products, the country’s President noted that it is already necessary to take care of obtaining high yields of these crops and to keep under constant control all the work carried out.
Then the khyakim of Lebap velayat Sh.Amangeldiev reported on the complex works being carried out in the region, on preparations for the organized start of wheat sowing on September 2. By this responsible season, tenants are provided with seeds, machinery, and mineral fertilizers to the required extent.
At the same time, measures are being taken to ensure that cotton gins, receiving points, combines and other equipment are ready for harvesting campaign.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on solving the problems facing the agricultural sector of the region, emphasizing how important it is to properly carry out the sowing of wheat, which will begin on September 2.
Further, the khyakim of Mary velayat, D. Annaberdiev, made a report on the progress of seasonal field campaigns, including preparations for sowing wheat, laying the foundations for next year’s harvests, as well as that arable and planning work is being carried out on the lands allocated for this purpose.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to organize the sowing of winter wheat at the proper level and gave the khyakim a number of instructions to improve the efficiency of the measures taken.

With the blessing of the President of Turkmenistan, the country’s regions are preparing to start sowing winter wheat for next year’s harvest on September 2, in connection with which preparatory work is carried out.
The Deputy Prime Minister also reported that preparations for the upcoming white gold harvesting campaign are underway these days.
As part of the report, it was informed that a lot of work is being done to improve the reclamation of acreage.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan gave the Deputy Prime Minister a number of commissions related to the proper organization of agricultural work, compliance with agrotechnical standards, provision of equipment and other means that will be used in sowing winter wheat and cotton harvesting. In addition, in order to obtain high yields of late potatoes and other fruit and vegetable crops, it is necessary to improve the quality of their tending. All these issues should be constantly in the spotlight.
Stating that responsible tasks are ahead of us, the head of state drew the attention of the Deputy Prime Minister to the celebration of an important date for Turkmenistan – the 31st anniversary of the sacred Independence. Following the traditions of our people, such dates are met with labor victories. Therefore, our brave farmers and grain growers are working tirelessly these days.
The President of Turkmenistan noted how important it is to successfully solve the tasks set in the year “The Epoch of the People with Arkadag”, especially on the eve of a significant date in the life of the country – the anniversary of Independence. The fate of the harvest, which will ensure food abundance in the country, depends on how everyone in their place will conscientiously do the work. In this regard, specific instructions were given to the participants of the working meeting.
Concluding the working meeting via the digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the participants good health, great success in their work for the benefit of the sovereign Homeland and the people of the country.
