On September 28, 2022, the solemn ceremony of presenting state awards to military personnel and conferring military ranks to senior officers, as well as regular military ranks and valuable gifts, certificates of honor to servicemen and employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan was held on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of Turkmenistan.

The ceremony of presenting state awards to military personnel and awarding military ranks to senior officers took place early in the morning on the square in front of the memorial complex "Halk hakydasy". High awards were given to servicemen who made a great personal contribution to strengthening the sovereignty and defense capability of the Motherland, ensuring security and public order in the country.

In the afternoon, the solemn event continued in the meeting room of the Central Office of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. Here, for great merits in conscientious fulfillment of the sacred military duty, ensuring the country's economic security, protecting the country's customs border, strengthening customs legislation and law military personnel were awarded regular military ranks. Servicemen and employees, as well as participants in the solemn military parade held on the occasion of the 31st independence of Turkmenistan, were presented with valuable gifts and diplomas.

Honored with state awards and military ranks, the servicemen accepted their awards with great respect, and, kneeling before the sacred banner, uttered the words of the military oath of allegiance to the independent neutral Motherland, native people, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.

The chairman of the service, Colonel M. Hudaykulyev, addressing the servicemen who received high state awards, expressed confidence that they would continue to honorably fulfill their duty to the Motherland, native people, the President of Turkmenistan, being faithful to the sacred oath, and also congratulated all participants of the ceremony on 31 anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
