On October 10-11, 2022, under the auspices of the Border Management Program in Central Asia (BOMCA10), a seminar and a meeting of the working group on the creation of a mobile application for the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan were held at the Archabil Hotel in Ashgabat.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Border Management Program in Central Asia, representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan. During the event, the participants exchanged views on the digital system used to automate the customs system in world practice and got acquainted with advanced technologies. Specialists of the State Customs and Migration Service of Turkmenistan spoke about the work being done to automate the operation of the digital system and shared their experience in this area.

As a result of the meeting, within the framework of cooperation between the Central Asian Border Management Program and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, cooperation on the creation of a mobile application for the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the upcoming work in the coming years were discussed.
