On February 10, 2023, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiýe in Turkmenistan visited the customs point "Artyk", located on the Turkmen-Iranian state border, where modern conditions have been created for the high-quality implementation of customs procedures, the introduction of a digital system in customs procedures, the use of TIR Carnets in international cargo transportation, got acquainted with customs clearance, the use of advance information on transit cargo and the operation of "green corridors".

During the conversation between the members of the delegation and representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, an exchange of views took place on the facilitation of operations for transit and bilateral international road freight transport from the territory of Turkmenistan, the use of digitization of the TIR Carnet for international road transport, as well as the provision of preliminary information about the cargo. We also decided to convey information about the positive results of using the benefits created in connection with the transition to a digital system to the drivers of the Republic of Türkiýe in Turkmenistan.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their gratitude to the President for his continued support and patronage in the transition to a digital system and the modernization of the country's national economy.
