On March 9, 2023, the XII Spartakiad among of law enforcement agencies of Turkmenistan opened in Ashgabat. Competitions in various team and individual sports will be held under the slogan "Turkmenistan - a country of health and inspiration."

The event is organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports, the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan. The main goals of the Spartakiad are the development of sports among military personnel, increasing their physical and moral-psychological readiness, instilling patriotism in them, loyalty to military duty, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

The sports team of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan "Gumrukchi" takes part in the competition. For two months, customs officers-athletes will compete in such sports as football, athletics, table tennis, tennis, national wrestling, chess and sambo.

We wish our athletes to achieve maximum results, adequately represent the State Customs Service at this sports forum and return with a victory.

We would like to note that among the customs officers there are participants and winners of national championships and international competitions. Thus, among the winners of the Asian Games-2017, the World Games of Two Nomads, as well as the XVI World Championship in belt wrestling, there are employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
