On January 25, 2024, opening ceremony of a new 24-apartment building for customs officers took place in the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat.

The modern 4-story building of the house solemnly opened its doors to the guests of the holiday: representatives of local executive authorities and public organizations, honorary elders, customs service personnel, as well as new customs officers themselves. The keys to the new apartments were received by employees brought in from other regions, large families, young officers, as well as highly qualified workers. This was a great gift for them for Defenders of the Fatherland Day.

It is deeply symbolic that the celebration was timed to coincide with the upcoming professional holiday of military personnel and military and law enforcement officers. This is convincing proof of the care and attention the state pays to military personnel.

It should be noted that in the apartments of the new building, which consist of 3 and 4 rooms, all conditions have been created for a comfortable family stay.

Customs officers who received new apartments expressed heartfelt gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, for his attention and constant care for the military personnel.
