On April 26, 2024, a series of meetings of customs officers with participants in foreign economic activity at the interdepartmental level continued at the Ashgabat City Customs. The representatives of State Quarantine Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan, the State Association of Livestock and Poultry Industry, Main State Service "Turkmenstandardlary", Agencies "Turkmendemiryollary" and "Turkmenavtolaglary", JSC "Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan", representatives of a number of transport and logistics companies, specialists of the Ashgabat City Committee of the Union of Industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as private entrepreneurs took part at the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the implementation of state programs to increase exports and produce import-substituting products, as well as the activities of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan aimed at promoting the development of the country's export potential. In this regard, the agenda of the meeting included innovations in customs legislation, as well as topical issues related to the implementation of foreign economic activity.

Customs officials provided detailed information on the benefits provided by law for domestic exporters, as well as on the prospects for switching to paperless customs clearance in connection with the implementation of the Single Window for Export-Import Operations project.

In addition, an exchange of views took place on issues of interest to the participants.
