From July 2024, traders, and transport and logistics companies are given the opportunity to provide electronic preliminary information about goods and vehicles intended for import into the customs territory of Turkmenistan.
Goods and vehicles for which preliminary information has been submitted to the customs authority are processed as a priority. The preliminary information can be submitted through Internet resources to any border customs post. The customs authority sends an electronic notification about the status of the preliminary information to the person who submitted the preliminary information.
Moreover, fees for accepting preliminary information in the Customs Service’s information system may be paid once at the beginning of each month.
