The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan takes an active part in the III International Conference and Exhibition "International Transport and Transit Corridors: Interconnection and Development" (ITTC-2024), which started on November 26, 2024.
The exhibition stand of the State Customs Service demonstrates innovative technical solutions that have been implemented to optimize customs procedures. Visitors were able to get acquainted with the achievements of our specialists when working with the automated customs data processing system - "ASYCUDA World", the mechanism of the "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" and the TIR-EPD system. In general, the stand was dedicated to the work carried out by the customs service on the digitalization of customs procedures in order to facilitate legitimate trade, development and increase the competitiveness of transit corridors passing through the territory of our country, also with the aim of attracting additional transit cargo flows and facilitating customs processes.
In addition, within the framework of the event, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the International Road Transport Union (IRU) on Enhancing Transport and Transit Security through the TIR System was signed.
