On november 29, 2024, an online meeting with representatives of the Customs and Tariffs Department of the Ministry of Finance of Japan was held at the Central Office of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. The purpose of the meeting was to exchange experience in the application of the Single Window system in customs processes.

Representatives of the State Customs Service acquainted their Japanese colleagues with the features and functions of the Single Window for Export-Import Operations system implemented by the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. In turn, Japanese experts shared their experience working with the NACCS and Single Window systems, and discussed in detail the implementation, functions and operation of these systems.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed issues of further cooperation between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs and Tariffs Department of the Ministry of Finance of Japan
