An interdepartmental meeting was held at the Central Office of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan with representatives of the Turkmendemiryollary and Turkmenavtoulaglary Agencies, the Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan OJSC, employees of a number of transport and logistics companies in the country, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as private entrepreneurs and customs brokers.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of the customs service informed the participants about the activities carried out by the customs service aimed at simplifying customs procedures and promoting increased trade, including the provision of preliminary information in electronic form on goods imported into the country, as well as obtaining the status of an Authorized Economic Operator.

In addition, during the meeting, practical examples of the provision of preliminary information by international carriers through information technologies and digital systems used by the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan were presented, and customs procedures for goods exported from our country were explained, including the clearance of goods crossing the customs border based on permits from government agencies.

       The meeting participants expressed confidence that the interaction of customs, government regulatory and law enforcement agencies with participants in foreign economic activity will lead to the achievement of more significant results of service activities.
