Customs officers from the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the Gender-Sensitive Trade Facilitation training module
From June 14-18th, 2021, the International Trade Center organized a regional workshop on Gender-Sensitive Trade Facilitation under the Ready4Trade-Central Asia (R4TCA) project funded by the European Union. The regional workshop was attended by representatives of the customs services of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This event is part of the gender component of the R4TCA project, which aims to empower women-led businesses to participate in international trade.
During the workshop, ITC experts made presentations on the Gender-Sensitive Trade Facilitation training module, and then during the practice session, participants had the opportunity to practice introducing these training modules on their own.
