On 27 January, 2026 as part of the nationwide celebrations marking Defenders of the Fatherland Day, a ceremonial event was held at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan to present state awards and confer next military ranks. Pursuant to the Decree of the Esteemed Supreme Commander-in-Chief, a number of distinguished servicemen of the State Customs Service were awarded state decorations and promoted to the next military ranks. The ceremony took place at the Central Office of the Service in a solemn and festive atmosphere.

In recognition of their exemplary service, leading servicemen were awarded the “Malikguly Berdimuhamedov” Medal of Turkmenistan, the “For Love of the Motherland” Medal, as well as the “For Impeccable Military Service to the Motherland” Medal, II and III Degrees. A number of servicemen were also conferred higher military ranks.

The servicemen of the State Customs Service who received state awards and military ranks expressed their sincere gratitude and profound appreciation to the Esteemed Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Hero Arkadag, reaffirming their commitment to faithfully serve the Motherland.
