On June 28, 2024, the opening ceremony of a residential building for employees of the Balkan velayat customs took place in the city of Turkmenbashi. The celebration was attended by leaders and personnel of the State Customs Service, deputies of the Mejlis, honorary elders, cultural and artistic figures, witnessing the great happiness of the new settlers. The year of celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi became the most significant in their lives.

During the opening ceremony, performances were organized by the musical ensemble of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and other various song and musical groups. Participants in the celebration were offered various national dishes.

It should be noted that the apartments in the new building have all the conditions for a comfortable stay for all members of military families. All apartments have the necessary furniture, modern household appliances and communications equipment.

The happy owners of the keys to the new apartments expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for their attention and constant care for the military personnel.
