On October 25, 2025, as part of the official visit of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, to the Italian Republic, a significant event took place to advance international customs cooperation. The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Customs and Monopolies Agency of the Italian Republic signed a Joint Declaration on Future Cooperation.
