Accreditation seminar of the World Customs Organization on the methodology of the study of the time release issue «Time Release Study»

Customs officer of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan took part in the accreditation seminar of the World Customs Organization on the methodology for conducting the Time Release Study, which was held from April 1 to 5, 2019 in the St. Petersburg branch of the Russian Customs Academy.

In order to optimally facilitate legitimate trade, the governments of WCO member countries should have internationally agreed protocols, guidelines and customs practices that are harmonized and optimized to the greatest extent possible.

In order to support the development of global harmonization, WCO has developed a number of comprehensive tools that include legally binding conventions (for example, the revised Kyoto Convention, the Istanbul Convention), as well as best practice tools and protocols.

The accreditation seminar is dedicated to reviewing and discussing these documents.
