Considering the ever-changing demands of regional and global trends, the President emphasizes the need for regular analysis of the state of world markets in order to form a flexible export policy of Turkmenistan.

The International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures (Revised Kyoto Convention - RKC) entered into force for Turkmenistan on May 3, 2021

Turkmenistan acceded to the Revised Kyoto Convention. On February 3, 2021, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium handed over the original of the Instrument of accession of Turkmenistan to the RKC to the World Customs Organization Secretary General, Mr. Kunio Mikuriya, who acts as the depositary of the Convention. Thus, Turkmenistan became the 126th Contracting Party to this Convention. The International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures was signed in Kyoto in 1973. In 1999, in Brussels, the World Customs Organization approved a new version of the convention.

A park opened in Farap district

During the days of the Culture Week of Turkmenistan, there are more and more joyful events in the Lebap region. One of them was the opening of the “Child’s world” cultural and entertaining center in Farap town of Farap district. The crowning of our living standards with success clearly shows the triumph of the basic principle of our High-Distinguished President "The State is for the People!". The reforms implemented by our national Leader have a positive impact on the life of every city and every person. This is clearly seen both in the appearance of our villages and cities, and in the fortunes of their inhabitants. Such happy moments abound in life of our young generation as well. Thanks to the efforts of our Esteemed President, Turkmenistan has become a land of happy childhood.

The State Customs Service of Turkmenistan develops cooperation with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the International Road Transport Union (IRU)

On June 16 and 22, 2021, an online meeting on international practice and international rules of customs clearance and customs control through the digital TIR-EPD system for international cargo transportation was held. Specialists of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Agency "Turkmenaragatnashyk", and representatives of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the International Road Transport Union (IRU), Turkmen Association of International Road Carriers (THADA) attended the meeting.
